Medifast Diet Review - part 2/3

Well, with Medifast it is that easy, though it doesn't necessarily mean you will be satisfied with what you are actually going to eat per meal. You eat one meal prepared at home. That will be 5-7 ounces of meat (they also have a vegetarian weight loss plan) and 3 servings of non starchy vegetables.

However, you'll eat 5 Medifast meals through the day. This sounds like you're always eating, but these are low calorie meals, such as shakes, bars, oatmeal, hot drinks, and soup.
And Medifasters have found ways to make this interesting. For example, you can mix shakes and oatmeal to make muffins. There is also a popular flavoring that is compatible with the plan so you can make pina colada shakes and other new flavors to shake things up a bit (no pun intended).

Medifast's Shakes come in a variety of flavors, such as banana creme, orange creme, and chocolate. You can also have soups such as Creamy Tomato, Maryland Crab, Chicken and Wild Rice, Minestrone, and even Chili. There are snacks and other meals available, such as pudding, scrambled eggs, chips and crackers.

And with its special shakes formulated for those living with diabetes, Medifast can also considered a Diet for Diabetics . Further, Medifast has shakes for women nearing menopause, and for people having a hard time controlling their appetite in general.

Medifast - lose the weight

Medifast states their food is very specially formulated to make sure you get all the nutrition you need. This is a calorie controlled, low fat, clinically tested diet. You'll be eating about 1,000 calories a day, and you will lose weight much quicker than with traditional diets.
Thus, each Medifast Meal, although small, is specially formulated by the makers to to give you what they consider to be just the right amount of carbs and protein at each meal so you will lose fat, curb appetite, and keep your muscle mass.

If you aren't sure yet if Medifast is the plan for you, you can buy individual boxes of the food directly from Medifast. Beware of eBay sales, as they might be expired, or exposed to the elements. Of course, if you like the food, you can get good discounts by buying Medifast one month at a time, or cashing in coupons that come with your food.
